the Chestertown candidates for town council will visit to discuss their hopes and reasons for running for office.
We have received word that Tom Herz has agreed to attend. The rest have been invited.
Kent CBG will not not endorse any candidate.

David Atlas will present a paper written by Daniel Griswold of the Mercatus Center which explains trade tariffs and why they are a big mistake. As a conservative, Griswold has expressed a point of view opposite President Trump. We should look at the differences and understand more.

Students from low-income families do not have the same opportunities to thrive during the summer months as compared to their peers from families that have more resources. As a result, low-income students are more likely to enter school in the fall unprepared for learning because they lost valuable skills they had mastered the previous year in school. Horizons addresses this important issue.
